Jay leads the Drucker Institute’s marketing and sales of Bendable for Libraries, a digital platform that helps public libraries organize all of their learning content into a single online marketplace for their patrons.
Jay is an award-winning public library professional and HR consultant with 15 years of experience influencing and leading strategy, managing statewide and enterprise projects, and coaching leaders in multiple sectors.
A 2015 Library Journal “Mover & Shaker,” Jay previously served as the director of continuing education and training for the Georgia Public Library Service and, before that, worked at the Gwinnett County Public Library in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Since 2018, he has run his own consulting firm, EduJay LLC, which provides executive coaching, staff training and other services for public libraries and related organizations.
Jay lives in Kingsport, Tennessee, with his wife, Cheryl (also a librarian!). He is an avid gamer, loves heavy metal music and enjoys hikes and weightlifting.
