Drucker’s ‘Five Most Important Questions’ named as the No. 1 book to ‘rekindle your business’

Peter Drucker’s The Five Most Important Questions You Will Ever Ask About Your Organization was picked by TheStreet.com as the top book to help “rekindle your business” in today’s tough times.

The book, put out by the Leader to Leader Institute, was among 10 selections that can help people “survive the financial tsunami.” (For more on Leader to Leader, please click here.)

“Although the bottom of the economic recession is nowhere in sight, there are opportunities,” Marc Kramer, an author and instructor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Global Consulting Practicum, wrote in TheStreet.com. “There are always opportunities if you can see them.” (For the full article, click here.)

Kramer praised Drucker’s work for “providing advice on how to focus your organization,” in part through a self-assessment process that pushes you to develop and implement a plan “that matches today’s reality.” Drucker’s five questions are: What is Our Mission? Who is Our Customer? What Does the Customer Value? What Are Our Results? What Is Our Plan?
